What this page covers

This policy describes what this website does with the information you give it. It covers brick-software.net only. Systems we run for a client under contract are governed by that engagement's data processing terms, not by this page.

What we collect

The only place this site collects personal information is the contact form. When you submit it we receive the fields you filled in: your name, your company, your email address, the service area you selected and the project brief you wrote.

There is no analytics package, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking script on this site, and we do not set cookies for advertising or profiling.

Why we collect it

We use what you send solely to answer your enquiry and, if it leads somewhere, to scope and quote the work. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it goes

The form posts to this site's own server, which forwards the submission to our internal enquiries inbox. Your browser never talks to any other service. Submissions are rate limited per network address to keep the form from being used to send bulk traffic.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes the request in order to serve it. Standard server logs, including IP addresses, are retained by that platform for a short operational period.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become an engagement are deleted from the inbox within 24 months. Enquiries that do become an engagement are retained for the life of that relationship and for as long afterwards as tax and contract record-keeping obligations require.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email anil@brick-software.net and we will action the request within 30 days. If you are in the EU or the UK you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing enquiries will be sent to the address on file.
