Separate systems created separate versions of stock

The client operates three electronics stores in Brussels and also sells through Amazon and its own website. Before the new platform, stock was managed separately across locations and channels.

A sale in one branch could leave Amazon or the website showing stock that was no longer available. At the same time, one store could run out of a popular item while the same product remained available elsewhere.

The business needed one connected system for point of sale, inventory, staff administration, transfers and online marketplace synchronisation.

02

Every sale updates one shared record

We built the platform around a central inventory source. A sale from any store updates the same record used by the other branches, Amazon, the online shop and the administration dashboard.

That shared record removes the delay between something happening at the counter and the rest of the business seeing it. Store teams work locally, while management keeps a single view of the whole operation.

Each sale feeds one inventory source, which keeps every connected sales channel aligned.
03

Move stock before a location runs out

Because every location reports into the same system, staff can see where each product is available. When one branch is running low, the platform gives the team the information needed to transfer stock from another store before availability becomes a customer problem.

The administration view also gives management remote oversight. Stock, transfers and daily operations no longer depend on being physically present at each branch.

Availability across the three stores with a transfer recommendation: Store 2 is below its preferred stock level at 3 units, Store 1 holds 48 units and Store 3 holds 31, and the central inventory recommends moving stock from Store 1 to Store 2.
Store 2 drops below its preferred level, and the shared record proposes the transfer from Store 1 before the shortage reaches a customer.
04

One source of truth for every sale

The finished platform replaced local-only inventory management with a connected retail system. It reduced manual Amazon updates, linked displayed availability to actual stock and lowered the risk of selling the same item twice.

  • Shared stock across three physical locations
  • Point-of-sale updates in real time
  • Amazon and online shop synchronisation
  • Inter-store stock movement
  • Remote administrative oversight
Three stores and several sales channels now work from one connected retail system.
